Ambassador Antonio de Aguiar Patriota has been the Ambassador of Brazil to the United States since February 2007. Previously, he acted as Under Secretary General for Political Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Relations (Brasilia), where his responsibilities included Brazil-US relations. Furthermore, he has held positions at the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.
